文筆不足，偏小白文，許多劇情不太合理，主題有點亂 現代都市覺醒異能+人/獸/植物成異變體（=怪物，但人類覺醒者為何不會變成異變體？）+高武+神話傳說（軒轅黃帝/神農氏/八岐大蛇/...+後面貌似又多了修仙元素和活了千年的人）。

毒點是偶爾有一些不合理沒來由莫名其妙的劇情，境界什麼的完全沒有系統化描述清楚，讀者真的看不懂哇，劇情寫的純屬作者自嗨=作者自己能看懂但讀者如霧裡看花。
不論男女應是達者為先，強者為尊，
本作最毒的是男主人設有點大男人主義+一些性別歧視，經常說娘們、女孩子那麼強作什麼、爭男人的面子。男人贏女人可以，女人贏男人就不行傷自尊。男人開掛可以，女人開掛時是做什麼？（意思如同倒反天罡）

設定還算新奇，但可惜作者文筆功力不足，經常(幾乎每章)頻繁使用驚訝/驚嘆/訝異……之類用語，為了推動劇情不合理的劇情和用語還蠻多的。
男主莫名其妙裝逼打臉，尤其是對自己還不錯馭獸宗師姐也啪啪打臉（不靠金手指只是廢材的男主，對師姐說「煉丹有很難嗎？」修行和修仙百藝難不難男主自己以往經歷過難道不清楚嗎？非得這樣隔應人）一堆無腦降智劇情和角色，無限嘲諷裝逼打臉套娃。
